Child-Parent Psychotherapy Screening Presentation

Please join us for a Free, One-Day Presentation entitled:

Support Young Traumatized Children & Their Caregivers: What Pediatricians/Physicians, Mental Health Providers & Other Child-Serving Professionals Should Know

Presented by Dr. Cassie Yackley

2 dates to choose from- Monday, February 12, 2018 or Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 9AM-12PM

(Please note: The same information will be presented at both sessions, please register for one session only.)

Do you know that nearly half of all young children have experienced at least one traumatizing event?

Do you screen for child and/or caregiver trauma as a regular part of your practice?

Are you able to point caregivers of young children to effective, evidence-based intervention to address traumatic exposure and to stop the cycle of family violence?

There is HOPE!

Dr. Cassie Yackley, Project Director for the Connecting Young Children and their Caregivers to Care Project, will prepare attendees to understand the prevalence of traumatic exposure and to employ screening procedures to identify signs of trauma in children zero to six years of age.  Participants will learn how to make referrals to a recently developed cadre of mental health professionals in Manchester that provide Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), a leading evidence-based intervention for traumatized young children and their caregivers.

Due to the financial support of the NH HNH Foundation, this informational session opportunity is provided free of charge.
