The Homeless Hotline, operated by the Community Services Council of New Hampshire, provides New Hampshire's homeless with live voice assistance from trained information and referral specialists. These specialists help homeless persons locate emergency shelter during periods of crisis and assist persons already being served in shelters, to find and locate services within the community.

Some Of What The Homeless Hotline Provides

  • Assistance in locating emergency shelter
  • Help for families facing eviction
  • Aid in finding help for housing, financial assistance, transportation, utilities, food, fuel, or other crisis circumstances
  • Referrals to local and state welfare departments
  • Referrals to security deposit loan programs
  • Referrals to other social service agencies
  • Referrals to housing assistance programs or other permanent housing services


ServiceLink - a network of ten community-based ServiceLink Resource Centers and forty satellite offices with the common purpose of providing information and supportive referrals about resources for older adults, adults living with disabilities, chronic illness, and their families and caregivers.
